Fussball-Talente: Talking about you. What position do you play. What's your strength and your weekness?

Hello, my name is Dieter Creemers , 17 years old and i play for the National Team of Belgium U18 and for KRC Genk . I am a goalkeeper .

Strength : i am 1.93 m tall which is a great advantage by high balls , good insight and 1v1.
weakness : kicking with my left foot could still improve

Fussball-Talente: What was the reason for you to start playing football? Did you get support from your family?

My father was active in football ( goalkeeper too ), so i grew up with it , I started to play football and i liked it .
it is the best sport ever !
Yes my family always supported me in my choices . They give me good advice and i try to follow it .
they support every game if possible .
But they are very critical also ...

Fussball-Talente: How would you judge your personal performance last season?

I played a very constant stable season , conceded few goals against .
I learned a lot and developed good . Furthermore the games for National Team gave me another challenge and made me stronger ! So i am very pleased with this season !

Fussball-Talente: How often do you practice in a week? What is the main focus

We train at least 5 times a week and i do some individual programs . The main focus is goalkeepertraining ofcourse , individual and integration .
My focus is always on improving

School and Club work together quite good .
Everything is well organised and arranged so i do have any problem at school .

Fussball-Talente: What do you think are the main differences between Belgium and German youth national teams?

I think German teams meet more often then us , so they train and play more together and get used to eachother .
Furthermore i think they are often fysical stronger and more mature then us .

Fussball-Talente: What was your brightest moment of your football career?

besides winning the Suwon Cup , the news that i could sign for Anderlecht when i was playing for Lommel United !

Because playing for Anderlecht was a big step forwards in my career .

I owe a lot to Anderlecht
