Danny Rose admits he was "fuming" at being left out for the north London derby on Saturday - but insists he has not fallen out with Mauricio Pochettino over it.
The England international has played just one Premier League game for Tottenham this season, a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on November 5.
Left-back Rose was fit for the 2-0 weekend defeat at Arsenal but was overlooked as Pochettino used a 3-4-2-1 system at the Emirates Stadium.
Speaking after playing the full 90 minutes in Tottenham's 2-1 Champions League win at Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, the 27-year-old said: "There was no falling out.
"There was no argument, no bust-up. I was fuming, yes, but it should be obvious any player should be unhappy that they're not involved in the biggest game of the season.
"There was no falling out or bust-up. I trained on Saturday and it looked like the right decision from the manager."
Pochettino moved to dismiss claims of a rift between the pair after the defeat to Arsenal, claiming it would not have been raised as an issue had his team won.
Rose had been in Tottenham's squad for each of their previous five games after coming back from a knee injury which had kept him out for most of 2017.
