With three Premier League teams involved in Champions League action on Tuesday - to varying degrees of success - the progress of Liverpool, Tottenham and Man City was on the agenda.
Also up for discussion was the retrospective action facing Oumar Niasse after his dive against Crystal Palace and Jose Mourinho's comments on his players being selected for England.
The future manager of West Brom was also up for debate after Tony Pulis' sacking on Monday, as was the work of Arsene Wenger following Arsenal's 2-0 win against Tottenham in Saturday's north London derby.
