Pukekohe Association Football Club is a long-standing football club in the Franklin community. Operating since 1960, it enjoys a membership of nearly 700 active players, across all age groups.
The Club offers an inclusive football programme in which players of all abilities can participate, as well as a development pathway for talented young footballers through its sister club Franklin United
The return of the season brings the return of the famous Pukekohe AFC Golden Boot race!!We had a massive opening weekend, including a single game with 16 goals in it, with hat tricks on both sides! This means it's the highest bar we've ever seen to entry onto the Golden Boot display, with nothing less than a brace on opening weekend being good enough!Special congratulations to Danny Passau, a familiar name on the table, but never before with a glut of 5 goals!Last year's Senior Golden Boot winner Jorge Alvarez showed his quality with ANOTHER hat trick, this week joined by Daniel Keatley and Sahil Suratwala.The girls are well represented in week one by the 16 Panthers who shared the 8 they past Auckland Utd, bringing three of them into the top 10.Week One and we also has Scot Harris out on his own in the Golden Glove race. After a very busy opening weekend at home, our senior and the top youth teams in our club had a real mixed bag. Odd Sox and OMY both put Tuakau to the sword, the Reserves won and the Franklin Law Men's First team backed up well after the Chatham Cup game with a hard fought draw, both against Drury.
